Fuente Anejo part3 (Reserva No. 55 )

Arturo Fuente Anejo Reserva No. 55 -torpedo 6×55 According to some smoke shop online sites: Anejo is Spanish for “Aged refined”. It features a dark a 5-year-old Connecticut broadleaf maduro wrapper that is aged in cognac barrels. These very rare Añejos have a blend of Opus X, Don Carlos, and Hemingway filler. Fuente Anejo is a full-bodied Dominican cigar with unique aging process that leaves a very distinct finish on the palate. The Anejo #55 provides a broad range of tastes from mid through a full-bodied experience that offers a powerful experience several steps back in intensity than the OpusX. It reminded me at times of the Padron 1926, both in natural and maduro, the OpusX, Series ‘R’ by La Gloria, even the Olivia maduro both G and the OLIVA V (5) SERIES Maduro and as well the Special G maduro Rothschild, and the La Flor Dominicana -several; with the Double Ligero coming to mind. This Anejo #55 cigar never really trended on anything but unique change – Maybe Obama, no I mean BamBam, should catch a clue and smoke one of these instead of his nasty Cigs. It was like tasting a couple dozen high end and a dozen moderate priced cigars, all rolled into one. I’m going to have to try another stick or two to have a better feel for this, and I’d like to try one from a different box, and another from this same box to compare with. This Arturo Fuente Anejo #55 smoked well, despite a somewhat restricted cap, right until the end as it started to burn my fingers and canoe just a tad
